Bardo Rodeo was a brewpub and performance space in Arlington that operated out of a converted auto dealership in the early 1990s — one of those places that was exactly right for its moment and its city. Big space, good beer brewed on-site, live music, and the particular energy of a place that wasn't trying to be anything other than what it was. The DC area had a lot of bars in the nineties. It didn't have anything else quite like Bardo Rodeo.
