Ogden Street South was the bar you ended up at when the night still had somewhere to go. In Colfax-adjacent Denver, it was reliably unpretentious — good drinks, no nonsense, the right kind of dark. It served the neighborhood faithfully and without fanfare, which is exactly what a great bar is supposed to do. Denver has newer bars. Denver doesn't have this one anymore.
