From 2005 to 2017, this Seattle hotspot purred with energy, bringing people together for unforgettable nights of drag shows, karaoke marathons, and viewing parties that turned mundane elections and TV finales into spectacular community events. Loved by locals and travelers alike, Purr clawed its way onto Out and Out Traveler's lists of the top 200 gay bars worldwide. In 2017, Purr prowled over to Montlake but eventually closed its doors in 2018, leaving behind a legacy of glitter, laughter, and fiercely good times.
