Rainbow Music Hall was one of those venues that punched well above its weight — a mid-size Denver room that hosted legendary acts through the late 70s and 80s before the city's music scene had the venues it deserved. If you saw a show there, you remember it. The acoustics weren't perfect, the sightlines weren't great, and it was absolutely irreplaceable.
