Fremont has changed, man. One glaring example is the absence of one of our favorites—The Red Door. As good a place to start as it was to end up, the rotating beer selection and totally passable menu always treated us right. It was one of those spots that was an easy call everyone could agree on. 5 o'clock, Red Door? Of course. Mostly, it was a vibe before people started saying annoying shit like “it’s a vibe.” Friends and families felt equally at home. Not always the choice for Fremont funksters but still a different, welcoming shade of old-school Seattle. We're not crying, you are!
